G4 Communications Announces the Opening of its Server Colocation Center

December 1, 2003 - Manchester, New Hampshire - G4 Communications, New Hampshire’s largest competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC), today announced the opening of its new Server Colocation Center. The 2,500 square foot colocation facility, which represents a $1.5 million investment by G4, is a completely redundant environment that allows customers to outsource their web and network servers with secure access and continuous monitoring.
A reception and open house for the Colocation Center is scheduled for Thursday, December 11 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at G4 Communications’ headquarters.

Extensive Data Protection
Customers colocating in G4’s facility have access to a complete array of power options. The center also provides housing alternatives ranging from open shelves to secure, enclosed racks and cages, a power guarantee using the high quality UPS systems, a back-up generator, dedicated bandwidth options, a customized approach to connectivity and redundancy and a 24x7 managed and monitored location.
With the new Server Colocation Center, G4 Communications’ target customer base, which includes small- to medium-sized businesses, enterprise-level commercial operations, and government and education networks, will have access to full data back-up and disaster recovery as well as environmental, fire and power protection.
